Anja Seffner

Anja Seffner has worked in various roles in the field of genomics and diagnostics. Anja started their career at Roche Diagnostics GmbH as an Application Specialist in the Customer Support Center for Sequencing Solutions from March 2011 to November 2012. Anja then moved to MVZ Labor Dr. Limbach Heidelberg, where they served as the Head of the Sequencing Unit from December 2012 to April 2016.

In 2016, Anja joined SOPHiA GENETICS and took on the role of Clinical Application Product Manager from May 2016 to July 2018. Anja then transitioned into the role of Project Management Lead, working as a Platform Project Manager and Release Manager from July 2018 to May 2021. Anja's next role at SOPHiA GENETICS was as a Principal Platform Product Manager from June 2021 to July 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Technology and Field Support at SOPHiA GENETICS, starting in July 2022.

Throughout their career, Anja has gained significant expertise and experience in genomics technologies, clinical applications, project management, and team leadership.

Anja Seffner attended Bielefeld University from 2003 to 2009, where they obtained a Diploma or M.Sc. degree in Molecular Biotechnology.
