Fuad Mohammad, PhD, is a Senior Bioinformatician and NGS Scientist at SOPHiA GENETICS since September 2021. Prior to this role, Fuad served as a Senior Research Data Analyst at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from August 2014 to June 2021, advising under Cynthia Sears on the influence of the gut microbiome on immunotherapy response through the analysis of 16S metagenomic and RNA-seq data using R and Python. Fuad completed a PhD in Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology at The Johns Hopkins University from 2014 to 2019, focusing on library preparation methods and NGS data analysis pipelines during studies under advisors Rachel Green and Allen Buskirk.
