Lucas Marques da Cunha

Lucas Marques da Cunha is an accomplished professional in project management and life sciences with extensive experience in both academic and corporate settings. Currently serving as the Head of PMO at SOPHiA GENETICS since November 2019, Lucas has progressed through various roles including Project Management Lead and Senior Project Manager. Prior to this, Lucas held roles as a Post-doctoral Researcher and Teaching Assistant as well as a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Lausanne from March 2014 to February 2019, culminating in a Doctor of Philosophy in Life Sciences. Additionally, educational credentials include a Master's degree in Life Sciences from the University of Lausanne and a Bachelor of Science in Aquaculture Engineering from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. Early career experience includes positions such as Production Manager at Cooptrasc and Consultant for the FAO in the Brazilian aquaculture census.
