Steven Chen

Steven Chen has over 17 years of diverse experience in sales and business development within the biotechnology and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as the Territory Sales Manager for Asia Pacific at SOPHiA GENETICS since April 2017, Steven has a strong focus on strategic planning, mentoring sales teams, and market development. Previous roles at SOPHiA included Senior Sales Executive and Sales and Business Development Manager, where Steven developed sales strategies and provided solutions in Genomics and Radiomics using NGS technology. Prior to SOPHiA GENETICS, Steven worked as a Regional Sales/Project Manager at Mediland Enterprise Corporation and as a Marketing/Sales Manager at Major Science. Steven began a career in research and procurement roles at TTY Biopharm, Affymetrix, Inc, and TCI Firstek Corp. Steven holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from San Jose State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of California, Davis.
