Ricardo Mate Salgado

Ricardo Mate Salgado serves as the Regional Vice President for South EMEA and Emerging at Sophos, overseeing the business across the Benelux, France, Iberia, and Italy regions since January 2017. In addition to this role, Ricardo is the President of the Board of Directors at Asociación @aslan since January 2020. Previously, Ricardo held significant positions at F5 Networks, NetApp, Polymita Technologies, Sun Microsystems, and Storagetek, contributing to substantial sales growth and market leadership throughout various roles in Iberia and EMEA. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from IE Business School and an industrial engineering degree from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
