Somanatha Murthy

Somanatha Murthy is a seasoned software development leader with extensive experience in engineering, automation, and DevOps. Currently serving as Director of Software Development at Sophos since May 2017, Somanatha previously held various managerial roles at RSA Security, including Group Manager for the Engineering, DevOps, and Automation sectors, overseeing substantial product lines and global engineering teams. Somanatha's earlier positions included senior engineering and technical roles at Dell EMC and FCG Software Services, alongside consultancy at IISc and Aeronautical Development Agency. Somanatha holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and a Bachelor's degree from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering.
