Koen Bulcke

Koen Bulcke is a highly experienced information technology professional, currently serving as a Senior Information Technology Security Officer at SBS since October 2011. Koen specializes in information security governance and technology, with expertise in ISO/IEC 27001 certified ISMS, regulatory compliance, and risk management. Prior to this role, Koen was a Senior core-banking software consultant focused on technical and functional development of the Sopra Banking Platform. Earlier experience includes founding BEITE to enhance digital literacy through ICT training, working as an IT Infrastructure consultant at Fujitsu, and serving as a System Engineer for 2G/3G PCI-express modules at Option. Koen holds a Master's degree in Electronics and ICT Engineering Technology from KU Leuven and a degree in Latin-Mathematics and Mathematics-Sciences from College Veurne.
