Tara Baumgarten

Tara Baumgarten is currently a Product Manager at Sora Schools. Prior to their current position, they worked as an Instructional Designer at iDesign, the Education Design Lab, U.S. Department of Education, George Washington University, Saylor Academy, Whiteboard Advisors, Adobe, Ranky, and Kitchenbug.

Tara has always been interested in education and technology. Tara started their career as an intern at the U.S. Department of Education in the Office of Education Technology. Tara then went on to work as an Instructional Designer at George Washington University and the Education Design Lab. In their current role as Product Manager at Sora Schools, Tara is responsible for managing and developing new products.

Ms. Tara Baumgarten has a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Technology from The George Washington University Graduate School of Education and Human Development, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Media Studies from Reichman University (IDC Herzliya). Tara also holds certifications from the LUMA Institute as a Certified Practitioner of Human-Centered Design, from Education Design Lab in Oral Communication, from Quality Matters Inc. in Applying the QM Rubric, and from IREX in Oral Communication Badge.

Tara Baumgarten works with Chris Wilson - Head of Schools, Anthony Gault - Director of Admissions, and Briney Burley - Curriculum Designer. Their manager is Wesley Samples, Co-Founder.
