Alison Phelan

Alison Phelan is a skilled freelance sign language interpreter with extensive experience in various settings, including healthcare, higher education, and K-12 education, having provided services across Minnesota since 2019. Alison has held multiple positions, including community interpreter and video interpreter at Sorenson Communications, as well as an ASL interpreter at the Los Angeles Superior Court. Additional roles include sign language interpreter at RISE Interpreting and Wilderness Inquiry, and graduate teaching assistant at St. Catherine University, where support was provided in ASL/English text analysis and interpreting courses. Alison's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Interpreting Studies and Communication Equity and a Bachelor's degree in ASL/English Interpreting, both from St. Catherine University.
