Babetta Popoff

Babetta Popoff possesses over 20 years of experience in the interpreting profession, currently serving as the Director of Interpreter Training and Development at Sorenson Communications since July 2009. Babetta has held various roles within the company, including District Manager and Director of Interpreting. In addition to this position, Babetta is involved with Live In AuthentiCity, LLC, focusing on professional development for sign language interpreters. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Learning Design & Technology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor's degree in Mental and Social Health Services from Belhaven University. Babetta, a native signer, utilizes extensive knowledge of Deaf culture in conjunction with experience as a yoga teacher to offer a holistic approach to interpreting.
