Felicia Douglas

Felicia Douglas is an experienced American Sign Language Interpreter currently working with Sorenson Communications since May 2022 and as a business owner at Equivalent Communications, LLC since February 2021, where Felicia provides a range of interpreting and educational services. Felicia's previous roles include interpreting for Purple Communications, Inc. and various educational institutions, including Nashville State Community College, Robertson County Schools, and West End Middle School, where responsibilities encompassed classroom and one-on-one interpreting. With a strong advocacy for the Deaf community, Felicia has continually focused on promoting equal access and effective communication. Felicia holds a Master of Education in Special Education and Teaching from Liberty University and is pursuing a Professional Certificate from the University of Northern Colorado, alongside previous degrees in Management and Human Relations and Sign Language Interpretation and Translation.
