Katie Whitfield

Katie Whitfield is an experienced ASL interpreter currently working at Sorenson Communications and Interpretek since April 2022 and September 2021, respectively. Previously, Katie served as a student scheduler in the Department of Access Services at the Rochester Institute of Technology from September 2018 to September 2021, managing communication with interpreters regarding schedules. Additionally, Katie worked as an Outreach Assistant at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf from September 2019 to January 2020. Katie holds a Bachelor's degree in American Sign Language Interpretation from the Rochester Institute of Technology, where studies were completed from 2018 to 2021, and has also attended Oakland Community College and Central Michigan University.
