Emmanuel Piffo, MBA

Emmanuel Piffo is a seasoned pharmaceutical professional with in-depth expertise in drug development, clinical trials and pharmaceutical portfolio management. He has solid experience of technological entrepreneurship. Former MERCK Canada and Montreal Heart Institute, he worked in clinical trials in industry before embarking on an entrepreneurial journey focusing primarily on the use of technology to improve the drug development process. In 2022, he founded Sorintellis, an AI-powered pharmaceutical portfolio management company, whose mission is to make clinical drug development faster and smarter by intelligently reducing clinical trial risks and improving complex decision-making processes in pharmaceutical portfolio management. Emmanuel Piffo holds a Bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Pharmacy of Université de Montréal and an MBA in Pharmaceutical Management from Université Laval. He also a graduate of HEC Montréal in Business Analysis and Information Systems and he studied health law and policies at the Université de Sherbrooke.
