Hanna Oommen

Hanna Oommen is an experienced healthcare professional and educator with a focus on maternal and child health, emergency response, and international healthcare development. Currently serving as a multicultural doula project coordinator, PhD candidate, and clinical midwifery educator at Sørlandet sykehus HF since February 2014, Hanna leads several projects aimed at improving healthcare practice. Previous roles include emergency response unit delegate for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and health delegate for the Norwegian Red Cross, where expertise in disaster relief and health coordination was applied. Educational qualifications include multiple master's degrees in health science and disaster relief healthcare, along with ongoing doctoral studies in global health.
