Michael Daley

Michael Daley has extensive work experience in various leadership roles, primarily in the healthcare and personal care industries. Michael is currently the Executive Director at Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc., where they are responsible for managing and driving new products and services to the marketplace. In this role, they oversee business operations, translation of early-stage products, and production for commercial revenue. Prior to this, Michael worked at Kimberly-Clark for over two decades, holding positions such as Senior R&D Manager, Director of Product and Technology, and Global Director of Skin Care and Infection Control. In these roles, they led cross-functional teams, managed budgets, and developed innovative strategies and technologies. Michael also played a key role in launching new business ventures, such as VOID® technology, which had a start-up valuation of over $10MM. Michael's expertise in business innovation, research, and development has contributed to the growth and success of the companies they have worked for.

Michael Daley has a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Michael also has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Materials Science and Engineering, specializing in Polymers, from the same university.
