Sungwoong Kim

Sungwoong Kim is currently a Scientist II at Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc., leading the development of lymphatic drug delivery projects targeting immuno-oncology and rheumatoid arthritis, while designing and conducting in vitro and in vivo studies. Previously, Sungwoong served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Georgia Institute of Technology, focusing on spatial-omics studies and developing 3D models for disease research. Additionally, Sungwoong was an NSF CMaT ERC Postdoctoral Fellow at Cell Manufacturing Technologies, where efforts concentrated on CAR-T cell manufacturing platforms. Educational achievements include obtaining a Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering and a Master's degree from Cornell University, along with a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree from Hanyang University.
