Business Development Manager

Job description

SOSA is looking for a Business Development Manager to work closely with a government FDI entity, and bring a proven track record of developing partnerships, sourcing deals and managing B2B relationships.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining business relationships with global C-level stakeholders as well as organizing and participating in a variety of business events.

Who you are:

  • 5+ years experience in a business development role within the tech ecosystem. FDI or VC experience is a plus.

  • Proven track record in building and managing B2B relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including C-level executives and governmental representatives.

  • Strong understanding of the tech ecosystem and the ability to spot emerging trends and opportunities.

  • Excellent written and presentation skills in English are a must.

  • Meticulous planning and organizational abilities with consistent attention to detail.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to learn quickly and to work independently.

  • Experience in creating detailed, concise and communicable reports and deliverables for a diverse group of stakeholders.

  • Working with government agencies is a plus.

  • Willing to travel abroad a few times a year.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and nurture relationships within the global tech ecosystem, fostering partnerships and strategic alliances.

  • Actively engage with companies to establish meaningful connections, gain insights into emerging trends, and pinpoint strategic opportunities for future business collaborations.

  • Work closely with key stakeholders from the governmental entity, while monitoring and communicating the projects' deliverables, including progress, development, and challenges.

  • Craft impactful presentations and reports, meticulously tracking their advancement and impact.

  • Initiate and participate in a diverse range of events, forums, and conferences, conveying the mission and objectives of the governmental fund to potential partners.

  • Maintain detailed documentation and analysis of leads in the designated CRM tool.
