Richard Charpentier, CMB, is a seasoned professional in the baking industry with extensive experience, currently serving as the CEO and Owner of Baking Innovation since November 2012. Richard specializes in various aspects of baking, including oven optimization, ingredient functionality, and bakery innovation. In addition to leading Baking Innovation, Richard contributes as a Technical Writer for ProTip @Baking & Snacks magazine and has held significant roles in organizations such as BAKERpedia and AIB International, Inc. Richard's prior experience includes senior leadership positions in R&D and product development at prominent companies like Flowers Foods and Hostess Brands. Richard holds a Bachelor's Degree in Baking Science from Kansas State University and additional qualifications in sales, marketing, and certified baking from AIB International.
