Krista Gombas

Krista Gombas has a diverse and extensive work experience in the IT field. Krista started their career as a Consultant at Deloitte in 1995 before moving on to MSS Technologies, Inc. where they held the role of ERP Consulting Manager. At MSS Technologies, they were responsible for ERP implementation and support projects, as well as developing implementation proposals and contracts. Krista then joined Stryker Sustainability Solutions as a Program Manager in 2005.

In 2006, Krista joined CalAtlantic Homes (formerly The Ryland Group) where they held various roles including Manager Business Intelligence, Sr. Applications Project Manager, and Sr. Business Analyst. Krista oversaw business intelligence for the company's nationwide homebuilding and mortgage operations.

In 2016, Krista joined Vixxo as a Systems Manager, where they managed JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and related 3rd party applications. Krista facilitated relationships with consulting partners and oversaw custom interfaces and reports.

Krista then moved on to Shea Homes in 2018 as a Business Solutions Manager before joining Meritage Homes in 2019 as a Director of IT Applications and Development. Krista is currently working for Sotera Health Company as a Director of IT Applications.

Krista Gombas obtained a Master's Degree in Accounting Information Systems from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University in 1994-1995. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with a minor in Management Information Systems from Oklahoma State University in 1990-1994. In addition to their academic achievements, Krista has also obtained various certifications including Accelerating Change Readiness and Agility from UC Berkeley Executive Education, ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance, PMP from Project Management Institute, and they hold a Certified Public Accountant designation, although they are currently not practicing. Krista has also received training in J.D. Edwards Software from J.D. Edwards.
