Andres Rodriguez Camelo is a Colombian product designer and entrepreneur. Andres is the co-inventor, co-founder, and CEO of Soterya, a company that develops biomedical products and wearable technologies. Prior to Soterya, Camelo was the CEO and Chief Designer at Product Architectures, where they contributed their design expertise to areas of product design and development, innovation, user experience, and strategy. Andres has also worked as a product designer at Emulate, Inc., where they helped develop the company's Organ-Chips technology, and as an Associate Inventor at Hasbro, where they worked on the ideation, design, and prototyping of interactive toy concepts. Camelo has also worked as a freelance product designer and founded Eveling E.U., a product design firm.
Andres Rodriguez Camelo has a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Product Design from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano. Andres has also completed continuing education courses in Management and Communication at Emerson College, and Practical Project Management at UMass Boston. In addition, they have an Industrial Electronic certificate in Electronic engineering from Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje (SENA), and an Associate of Arts - AA degree in Animation, Interactive Technology, Video Graphics and Special Effects from the same institution.
