Lenka Palova Jelinkova

Director Translational Science at Sotio

Lenka Palova Jelinkova has extensive work experience in the field of biomedical research and development. Lenka began their career as a research fellow at the Institute of Microbiology, Czech Academy of Sciences in 1999. In 2002, they had a research visit at the Department of Pathophysiology, AKH Vienna, where they worked on the expression and purification of recombinant CRT and its fragments.

Lenka then pursued a research visit at Universitatsklinikums Leipzig in 2004. From 2012 to 2018, Lenka worked as a Senior Research Scientist at SOTIO Biotech, where they contributed to the company's preclinical and clinical studies in oncology.

Later, they served as the Science Lead Pharmacology at SOTIO Biotech from 2018 to 2021, where they played a crucial role in the development and implementation of biomarker strategies for international clinical trials in oncology.

Lenka's most recent role is as the Director Translational Science at SOTIO Biotech since October 2021. In this position, they are responsible for overseeing the translation of preclinical results and approaches into clinical biomarker strategies to support efficient clinical development.

Throughout their career, Lenka has collaborated with various teams and external partners, including CROs, to accelerate the product pipeline. Lenka has also presented data and provided strategic input to development teams and management.

In addition to their work experience, Lenka had research visits at The Bartholin Institute and AKH Vienna, further demonstrating their dedication to scientific research and collaboration.

Lenka Palova Jelinkova attended Havlickovo gymnazium Havlickuv Brod from 1990 to 1994, where they completed their general high school education. Lenka then went on to Charles University, where they obtained a BSc. in Biology from 1994 to 1997, followed by an MSc. in Biology-Immunology from 1997 to 1999. Finally, they completed their education at Charles University with a RNDr., PhD in Biology-Immunology from 1999 to 2004.
