Ondrej Smid

Ondrej Smid has extensive experience in the medical writing field. Ondrej worked at SOTIO Biotech from 2015 to the present, starting as a Medical Writer and eventually becoming the Head of Medical Writing. In these roles, they managed the development of various clinical study documents, coordinated project teams, and conducted training for colleagues. Prior to their time at SOTIO Biotech, Ondrej worked at Pharmnet from 2010 to 2015 as a Clinical Research Associate and Medical Writer. Ondrej also held research associate positions at The University of Dundee and Charles University, Faculty of Science.

Ondrej Smid holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biomedicine, which they obtained from Charles University, Faculty of Science, Prague, Czech Republic between the years 2003 and 2008. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Parasitology at the same university from 1998 to 2003. Throughout their career, Ondrej Smid has also obtained additional certifications in medical writing, academic writing, and English proficiency.
