Oliver Schulthess

Oliver Schulthess has extensive work experience in the engineering industry. Oliver started their career as an Apprentice CAD Draftsman at Ferag AG in 1999 and worked there until 2003. Oliver then joined Soudronic AG as a Calculation/Development Engineer from 2007 to 2013. In 2015, they worked as a Project Manager Mechanics at Mägerle AG Maschinenfabrik for a brief period. Following that, they joined Bosch Packaging Technology as a Mechanical Development Engineer from 2016 to 2017. Since 2017, Oliver has been employed at Soudronic AG, where they held various roles such as Head of Process and Technology, Head of Process Technology, Laboratory and QS, and most recently, Head of Process Technology, Lab and Lead Digitalization + IoT. Oliver'sdiverse experience showcases their expertise in process technology, mechanics, and digitalization in the engineering field.

Oliver Schulthess has a diverse education history. In 2003, they began their studies at OST – Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences, graduating in 2007 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2017, Oliver pursued further education at the Swissmem Academy, completing a CAS Leadership for Engineers program in 2018.

Continuing their professional development, Oliver obtained several certifications. In 2014, they received a Certificado: Intermedio Medio from Academia Latinoamericana de Español. In 2017, they participated in the VDI special day: Predictive Maintenance hosted by VDI Verein Deutscher Ingenieure e.V. Oliver also completed the Scrum for decision makers course at BWI Management Weiterbildung. In 2018, they obtained certifications in Design Thinking and SIMPLICITY - Strategies for simple products, services, and processes from the same institution.

Most recently, in 2023, Oliver enrolled in the CAS Digital Transformation Specialist program at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW, specializing in Wirtschaftswissenschaften (Economics and Business Administration).
