James Gower

James Gower has a diverse work experience history. James began their career as a Promotional Representative at Brand Spanking in 2013. James later volunteered as a Legal Volunteer at Community Law Wellington & Hutt Valley, providing assistance to practicing lawyers. In 2015, they joined KPMG New Zealand as a Risk Consulting Advisor, where they worked on engagements across the public and private sector. James then took on the role of Business Operations Lead at Apperio, a technology start-up in London, where they supported the CEO and Founder. In 2020, James joined the New Zealand Defence Force as an NZ Army Infantry Rifleman and subsequently served as an NZ Army Platoon Commander. James is currently serving as the 2IC, Northland Company 3/6 RNZIR. Additionally, they have held roles at Soul Machines, including Business Development Associate and Corporate Account Executive, and currently serves as the Director of Sales.
