Simon Martin

Simon Martin has a diverse background in the recruitment industry. Simon started their career as an IT Recruitment Consultant at Elan IT in 2004 and worked there until 2006. Simon then joined Elan IT NZ as an IT Recruitment Consultant from 2006 to 2007. Simon went on to work as a Senior IT Consultant at Global Career Link from 2007 to 2008 and as a Team Manager at Madison Recruitment from 2008 to 2010. Simon then became the General Manager and Principal Consultant at pursuIT Recruitment from 2010 to 2011. Simon subsequently worked at Talent Magnet as a Principal Consultant from 2011 to 2012 and as a Director from 2012 to 2020. Simon co-founded Weirdly Ltd in 2014 and held the role of Co-founder. Most recently, Simon joined Soul Machines as the Head of Talent in 2016 and progressed to the role of Director of People in 2020. Simon is currently the VP People at Soul Machines.

Simon Martin attended Priory School from 1991 to 1996. Following this, from 2002 to 2004, they attended Bridgewater College where they obtained an HND degree in Computer Science.
