Jamil Haque is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in the field of biomedicine. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Sound Biologics since November 2016, Jamil specializes in the design, production, and affinity engineering of antibodies, particularly in bispecific and fusion formats, while also evaluating antibody binding, developability, and stability. Prior to this role, Jamil worked at OncoSec Medical Inc from 2014 to 2016, focusing on in vivo research for immuno-oncology therapeutic candidates and conducting ex vivo studies on immune cell characteristics. Jamil's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Cellular and Developmental Biology from the Medical College of Wisconsin, earned between 1998 and 2004, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Previous research experience includes a Research Scientist 4 position at the University of Washington's Department of Medicinal Chemistry, exploring P450-mediated drug metabolism, and a Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Department of Pathology, concentrating on liver cancer and regeneration research.
