Daphne Kelley is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Sound Community Bank. Daphne has over fifteen years of experience in the banking and finance industry.

Daphne started their career in 2005 as a Capital Markets Financial Manager at GE Capital. Daphne then transitioned to Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle in 2007 as their Controller and Vice President. In 2015, Daphne became the Controller and Senior Vice President at HomeStreet Bank.

In 2018, Daphne moved to Sound Community Bank where they are currently the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, Daphne has built and managed a diverse finance and accounting team. Daphne also directs quarterly and annual SEC, Regulatory, Board and monthly reporting. In addition, Daphne manages liquidity, debt and investments - including interest rate risk analysis, capital stress testing and quarterly loan provision.

Daphne has extensive experience in designing and writing policies and procedures using Kaizen and Six Sigma methodologies - incorporating Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and operating controls. Daphne chairs the Asset Liability Committee and is a voting member on key management and governance committees. Daphne collaborates with Bank management to author the annual Strategic Plan. Daphne is also responsible for creating and managing the annual budget as well as other financial planning and analysis functions.

Daphne Kelley has a BS from the University of California, Berkeley in Business. Daphne also has an MBA from the Anderson School of Business. Daphne is certified in CPA and MBA.

Daphne Kelley works with Brady Robb - SVP, Marketing Director, Heidi Sexton - Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and Diana Everett - SVP, Technical Services Manager. Daphne Kelley reports to Laura Lee Stewart, CEO.
