Carlos Rojas has extensive experience in finance and accounting roles. Carlos started their career as Director of Fiscal Services at Cedar Hills Hospital in 1992 before moving on to become Director of Finance at the YWCA of Greater Portland in 1993. From there, they worked as a Finance Manager at OHSU, Director of Finance (CFO) at Girl Scouts - Columbia River Council, and Director of Finance at Hacienda Community Development Corporation. In 2006, they became Director of Finance - CFO at the Children's Developmental Health Institute (formerly known as the Hearing & Speech Institute) and later held the same position at Janus Youth Programs, Oregon Primary Care Association, and Senior Services of Snohomish County. Carlos'smost recent position is Chief Financial Officer at Sound Generations, which they have held since 2018. Throughout their career, Carlos has been responsible for overseeing accounting, budgeting, financing, financial statements preparation, and presentation to various stakeholders. Carlos has experience managing budgets from multiple funding sources, including grants, program revenues, and fund raising. Carlos has also supervised staff and collaborated with executive teams in their roles.
Carlos Rojas received their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the Universidad Autonoma de Centro America, studying there from 1979 to 1983. Carlos later attended Portland State University from 1985 to 1986, where they specialized in Governmental Fund Accounting and Auditing.
