Sound Generations
Tenzin Metok, MSW LSWAIC, is a Clinical Social Worker I at Sound Generations since September 2023. Tenzin's prior experience includes serving as a Social Work Intern at the University at Buffalo's School of Dental Medicine from October 2022 to May 2023, and as a Bone Marrow Transplant Social Work Intern at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center from August 2022 to October 2022. Additionally, Tenzin participated in the UB Social Impact Fellowship with Omantec LLC from June 2022 to September 2022 and completed a Social Work Internship at Weinberg Campus from September 2021 to May 2022. Previous roles include Front Desk Attendant at Residence Hall Fitness Centers from May 2016 to May 2019, Emergency Department Volunteer at NYC Health + Hospitals in December 2017 to January 2018, and Student Volunteer with Student For A Free Tibet from May 2017 to August 2017. Tenzin holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the University at Buffalo (2021-2023) and a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Human Services from the same institution (2015-2019), along with a high school diploma from Manhattan Comprehensive Night And Day High School (2013-2015).

Established in 1967, Sound Generations assists and empowers more than 64,000 seniors and their families each year through an integrated system of quality programs and services. Our mission is to support people on their aging journey through community connections and accessible services.
