Chia-Shing Yang MD FACP FHM is a seasoned medical professional currently serving as Regional Chief Medical Officer, Associate Chief Medical Officer, Regional Medical Director, Chief Hospitalist, and Associate Chief Hospitalist at Sound Physicians since February 2014. In addition to a comprehensive role in hospital medicine, Chia-Shing Yang held the position of Assistant Clinical Professor in Internal Medicine at Texas A&M University from January 2018 to 2019, and was the Department Chair for Hospitalist Medicine at CHI St. Joseph Health during the same year. Previous experience includes serving as a Clinical Preceptor at the University of New England from February 2014 to July 2016. Chia-Shing Yang earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School and has further educational credentials from UVA McIntire School of Commerce and the University of Virginia.
