Rob Zipper

Dr. Rob Zipper leads physician advisory services. In his role, he is responsible for leveraging our expertise in clinical documentation optimization to expand the impact of these services, further differentiate our hospital medicine practice, and deliver improved clinical and financial performance to our hospital partners. Additionally, he serves as our physician lead for interpreting and responding to federal policy changes, including coordinating clinician education related to these changes. Dr. Zipper has more than 15 years of leadership experience with Sound Physicians, including serving as a hospitalist medical director and regional chief medical officer. He also serves on the board of directors for the Society of Hospital Medicine and is a member of SHM’s Public Policy Committee.
