Tamara Beard M.D.

Tamara Beard MD has held various medical roles throughout their career. Tamara started as a Chief Medical Resident at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa in 2019. Tamara then worked as an Urgent Care Physician at Texas MedClinic from 2020 to 2021. In 2020, they also served as a Hospitalist Physician at Sound Physicians. Tamara later became the Hospital Medicine and Emergency Medicine Medical Director at Sound Physicians. In 2022, they served as the Infusion Clinic Medical Director and Inpatient Hospice Medical Director at Hill Country Memorial. In 2023, they took on roles as the Chief of Medicine, Inpatient Hospice Medical Director, and Infusion Clinic Medical Director at Methodist Healthcare System.

Tamara Beard MD completed their Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University in 2012. Tamara then pursued a Master of Science in Medical Clinical Sciences/Graduate Medical Studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center School of Public Health in 2013. Following this, they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from UT Health San Antonio in 2017. In 2020, they received the Board of Certification in Family Medicine from the American Board of Family Medicine.
