Alexander Balbir

Alexander Balbir, PhD, MBA, serves as the Chief Growth Officer at Sound Off since August 2023. Brining extensive experience in healthcare administration, Alexander has held the role of Medical Service Corps Officer in the US Navy Reserve since December 2014 and was Director of Independence Services at Wounded Warrior Project from September 2014 to July 2023. Previous positions include Manager of Healthcare within the Global Public Sector at Grant Thornton LLP, Chief of Operations and Administration for the National Intrepid Center of Excellence at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, and Post-Doctoral Research Associate at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. Alexander's educational background includes an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, a Master of Science in Quantitative Management from Duke University, a PhD in Physiology and Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Davidson College.
