Leslie Guild Kelly is a seasoned freelance writer and editor with extensive experience in journalism and nonprofit sectors. Since January 2013, Leslie has worked independently, providing editing services for Kitsap Sound publications while previously serving as a Research Assistant for New York Times bestselling author Elizabeth George from 2007 to 2010. Leslie held the position of Development Director at the Whidbey Animals Improvement Foundation, focusing on fundraising, and worked as a Media Specialist for Food Lifeline, handling media and public relations. Prior reporting roles include news coverage for SEATTLE TIMES and The Daily Herald of Everett, Washington, as well as education and city government reporting for the Topeka Capital-Journal. Leslie earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from The University of Kansas.
