Chris Elwell

Chris Elwell has extensive experience in labor relations and compliance within public sector organizations. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Labor Relations at Sound Transit since August 2011, Chris has also held the positions of Acting Executive Director and Director of Labor Compliance at the same organization. Additionally, Chris has been a Fire Commissioner for King County Fire Protection District 2 since January 2004. Previously, Chris worked as the Special Projects Manager for King County, where responsibilities included overseeing compliance with Project Labor Agreements for the Brightwater Wastewater Treatment Plant and its associated conveyance tunnels. Between December 2005 and January 2009, Chris held the role of Executive Secretary/Treasurer for the Seattle/King County Building and Construction Trades Council. Chris studied at the National Labor College from 2009 to 2011.
