John Carini

John Carini is an experienced professional in the field of vertical transportation, currently serving as the Deputy Director at Sound Transit since October 2019. In this role, Carini focuses on enhancing outcomes and supporting the professional growth of team members through effective training, asset management, and strategic decision-making. Prior to this position, Carini held the title of Manager at ELTEC Systems from 2016 to 2019, where expertise in business development led to significant growth in the Tacoma and Olympia territories. Additionally, Carini served as the Southwest Sales Manager at Specialty Products Inc. from 2013 to 2016, guiding teams across multiple states and providing technical insights into water industry applications. Carini's early career included service as a Combat Engineer Team Leader in the US Army from 1996 to 2000.
