Adam Mekrut

Adam Mekrut is an experienced UX researcher with a focus on cognitive science and interdisciplinary studies. Currently serving as a Senior UX Researcher at SoundCloud since April 2022, Adam previously worked as a UX Researcher at Kaiser Permanente from November 2019 to April 2022 and at Scanwell Health from January 2019 to September 2019. Adam began a professional journey in research at the UCSD Design Lab, where a role as a Graduate Student lasted from September 2014 to January 2019, along with serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of California San Diego from September 2012 to January 2019. Adam's academic credentials include a Master's degree in Cognitive Science from UC San Diego and a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Neuroscience from San Diego State University.
