Silas Williams

Silas Williams is currently the VP, People & Culture at SoundCloud. Prior to this, they were the VP, People & Places at VSCO from July 2021 to December 2021. Before that, they were an HRBP at Facebook from August 2018 to July 2021.

At SoundCloud, Silas is responsible for providing HR advice, coaching, data insights and solutions to enable the organization in leading through people related business challenges. Silas is also responsible for the development and implementation of an HR strategy supporting the execution of a creator first, subscription based tech business.

At VSCO, Silas was responsible for the leadership and management of the people & places function supporting VSCO employees working in a remote first environment. Silas provided direct coaching and thought partnership to executives, working with them and their respective teams as a trusted partner, insight and advice relating to people, teams and the development of their organizations as they scale.

At Facebook, Silas was responsible for partnering with business and HR functional leaders across NORAM and EMEA to build creative and effective people strategies that enable the growth of Facebook’s Growth Data Sciences, Data Engineering, Product Growth and Internationalization organizations. Silas also developed data analysis and reporting solutions based on business needs, focused on growth and development for leaders and their respective teams.

Silas Williams has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Eastern Connecticut State University and a Master of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of New Haven. Silas also has certification from SHRM in SHRM-SCP.
