Sayali Ghodekar

Sayali Ghodekar has a diverse range of work experience in the field of machine learning and natural language processing. Sayali is currently working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Sounder, starting in February 2023. Prior to this, they held roles at Columbia University, where they served as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant. In their research assistant role, Sayali enhanced Edubot with a spoken-language learning feature and built machine learning models for automated evaluation of spoken-language proficiency.

Before their time at Columbia University, Sayali worked as a Machine Learning and NLP Intern at Consumer Reports, where they created a pre-processing pipeline for cleaning noisy data using NLP and statistical techniques.
