Shayon Chowdhury

Shayon Chowdhury is a Senior Software Engineer at SoundHound, where involvement in the Conversational AI team focuses on Houndify NLU since September 2018. Previously, Shayon advanced through roles as Software Engineer II and Software Engineer at the same company. Initial experience includes internship positions at IBM, contributing as a Machine Learning Developer with text classification and model deployment, and as a Compiler Optimization Developer, alongside internships at Evertz, NVIDIA, and New Signature, gaining expertise in video software design, camera software engineering, and mobile application development. Shayon holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo and an Ontario Secondary School Diploma from R.H. King Academy.
