Carlos Canino has a diverse work experience in law enforcement and customer success. carlos worked as the Director of Customer Success at SoundThinking, formerly known as ShotSpotter. In this role, they briefed city and law enforcement leadership on outcomes resulting from ShotSpotter use and consulted with police executives on gunfire intelligence assessments and best practices. carlos also collaborated with various entities as a subject matter expert.

Prior to that, Carlos was an ATF Special Agent in Charge of the Los Angeles Field Division where they oversaw all division functions and exercised executive responsibility in criminal investigations. carlos also implemented comprehensive law enforcement and regulatory strategies and managed administrative and programmatic matters. carlos further advanced Crime Gun Intelligence and NIBIN led investigations through strategic management.

Carlos also served as the Special Agent in Charge of the ATF Miami Field Division, where they had similar responsibilities and accomplishments.

Before their roles in Los Angeles and Miami, Carlos held various positions within ATF, including Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the Phoenix Field Division, ATF Country Attaché in Mexico, Resident Agent in Charge in St. Louis, and Special Agent. In these roles, they demonstrated strong leadership and supervision skills while working on firearms-related violence and trafficking cases.

Carlos Canino obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Westfield State University between 1985 and 1988. Prior to that, they attended Bridgton in 1983 and Watertown High School from 1980 to 1983.
