Joel Camacho

Joel Camacho is a seasoned software developer currently contracted through SoundWay Consulting Inc. to the Department of Defense. With extensive experience spanning from August 2020 to March 2025 as a Senior Principal Software Developer at Peraton, Joel has specialized in full-stack development for enterprise applications, including the IRS.gov website. Past roles include substitute instructorships at the Full-Stack Software Development Bootcamp and software development at Northrop Grumman, where Joel modernized web-based systems for the SSA. A freelance developer prior to joining Northrop Grumman, Joel employed agile methodologies to design robust web applications. Joel holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Fordham University and is currently pursuing an MBA and a Graduate Certificate in Technology Management at the University of Maryland.
