Shemona Singh has a diverse and extensive work experience. Shemona is currently working as a Frontend Engineer at Source.ag since January 2023. Previously, from June 2022 to December 2022, they worked as a UX Engineer at freiheit.com technologies.

From 2018 to 2022, Shemona worked at Indeed.com in multiple roles. Shemona started as an Associate Design Technologist in June 2018 and was later promoted to Design Technologist in February 2020. Shemona'sresponsibilities included building and maintaining web experiences using technologies like React, Redux, HTML, and SCSS. Shemona collaborated with UX Designers to transform design visions into functional prototypes and conducted prototype testing with UX Researchers.

In 2020, Shemona worked as a Summer Immersion Program Instructor at Girls Who Code, where they taught website design and development to a group of students aged 13-17. Additionally, they worked as a Product Designer and Front End Developer at HomeGrade Inc. from April 2019 to April 2020, and as a Frontend Web Developer at MakerPaper from November 2018 to December 2019.

Earlier in their career, Shemona held the role of Layout Manager at STEMTalk Magazine from March 2017 to May 2018. Shemona also worked as a Web Designer at UConn Web Lab from March 2016 to May 2018 and at the Academic Achievement Center from January 2016 to February 2018. At the Academic Achievement Center, they not only served as a Web Designer but also as a UConn Connects Mentor, providing academic and career guidance to struggling students through individual mentoring sessions. Shemona was responsible for improving student skills, organizing meetings, leading study sessions, and participating in training courses to enhance mentorship abilities.

Shemona Singh studied at the University of Connecticut from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science and Digital Arts. Prior to attending the University of Connecticut, they completed their high school education at Joseph A. Foran High School from 2010 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Shemona Singh has obtained several certifications. In April 2021, they received a Parsons Product Design Essentials Certificate from Yellowbrick. In August 2020, they completed the Human-Computer Interaction for User Experience Design program offered by the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL). Shemona also holds certifications such as the Effective Altruism Intro Fellowship from Effective Altruism Germany (obtained in December 2022), Creative Coding with p5.js from Udemy (obtained in May 2022), and Foundations of Humane Technology from the Center for Humane Technology (obtained in April 2022). Furthermore, they received a Certificate of Graduation from the Vani Natyalayam School of Dance in June 2014. Lastly, in July 2012, they completed the Bio Safety Training and Lab-Safety Training programs at the Science and Research Awareness Series Camp at Stony Brook University.
