About the Role: 

We are seeking an experienced Account to join our finance team. This role is essential for managing our accounts receivable processes and ensuring financial transactions are handled with accuracy and timeliness.

Essential functions, responsibilities, and duties: 

  • Ensure timely billing to clients and compliance with AR procedures by generating and raising invoices, debit and credit notes
  • Responsible for monthly AR closing
  • Prepare bi-weekly/monthly AR aging reports for reporting and credit control meetings
  • Reconcile the Accounts Receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer profiles
  • Process credit applications and conduct regular credit review
  • Coordinate and liaise with external parties like auditors, bankers, tax agent, etc when required
  • Preparation and submission of quarterly GST
  • Perform any other adhoc duties as assigned.

Skills and requirements: 

  • Possess a Diploma in Accountancy or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting operations
  • Team player, self-motivated and able to follow deadlines
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmen
  • Computer literate and proficient in MS Office applications and financial software applications
  • Good problem solving skills and able to take initiative
  • A good team player with positive working attitude
