Raghu Ugare

Raghu Ugare has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Raghu is currently working as the AVP of Engineering at Sourcewiz since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Architect at PharmEasy (API Holdings) from May 2021 to October 2022. Before that, Raghu served as a Technical Architect at Medlife.com from December 2019 to May 2021, and at Myra Medicines from May 2017 to December 2019.

Raghu also had experience as a Technical Architect at VoterCircle, a California-based startup focused on voter outreach, from February 2015 to May 2016. Raghu played a significant role in designing and implementing key backend services and mentoring new developers and testers. Additionally, Raghu played a key role in developing an end-to-end Reporting module for data analytics.

Raghu worked as an Architect and Consultant at Simpragma Solutions from February 2013 to January 2015. Raghu worked on designing and developing innovative features for MI Airline, a client based in the Netherlands, using cutting-edge tools and technologies such as CouchDB, Android, REST web-services, and Heroku.

Raghu has also held the position of SOA Architect and Lead at Infinite Computer Solutions. Raghu worked as a consultant for Xerox, USA, on a medical claims processing system aimed at improving the reuse of existing service components.

Prior to that, Raghu worked at Torry Harris Business Solutions as a SOA Researcher, Mentor, and Consultant. Raghu was part of the first few members of the newly established SOA Center of Excellence (SCOE) and conducted research on various tools, technologies, and paradigms of SOA. Raghu also worked as a Solution Designer and Consultant for clients like EDP, REDAL, Dubai Customs, and Telefonica O2, where they contributed as an SOA Architect and Solution Designer.

Raghu Ugare obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, Raghu obtained certifications in Machine Learning from Coursera Course Certificates in February 2017 and in IBM Certified SOA Associate from IBM in October 2007.
