Romy Chevallier is a Senior Researcher with a diverse background in climate change, terrestrial forest governance, coastal ecosystems, biodiversity, ecosystem management, and sustainability. With experience in organizations such as SAIIA, SACAU, ILRI, Bembani, and DFID, Romy has focused on policy advising, governance, and strategic planning related to climate change, agriculture, and marine and coastal ecosystem-based adaptation. Romy holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from the University of the Witwatersrand, as well as Honours in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Stellenbosch University.
