Caa Sarah Hayes

Sarah Hayes, CAA, currently serves as Associate Commissioner for the South Carolina High School League since January 2023. Prior to this role, Sarah was the Athletic Director at Battery Creek High School from August 2013 to January 2023, where responsibilities included social studies teaching and head coaching for the girls' varsity basketball team. Additionally, Sarah has experience as an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at Carnegie Mellon University from July 2011 to June 2013, focusing on team travel coordination, scouting reports, game film, and recruiting. Sarah began their career as a professional basketball player with USC Freiburg Eisvoegel from August 2006 to May 2011. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Athletic Administration from Ohio University (2016-2018) and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and History from Brown University (2002-2006).
