Diana Burbano

Diana Burbano is a Colombian immigrant and Equity actor with extensive experience in the performing arts as a playwright and teaching artist, currently affiliated with South Coast Repertory and Breath of Fire Latina Theatre Ensemble. Diana's notable written works include "Policarpa" featured at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, along with participation in various festivals such as the Latinx Play Festival and the William Inge Festival. With a career spanning several decades, Diana has also held positions as Artistic Director for Gourmet Detective and has produced works through Sleep Till Noon Productions. Diana’s contributions to theatre extend to winning awards and being recognized within the Dramatists Guild of America. Diana has enhanced diverse creative projects, including scripts for Kaiser Permanente and performances like "Menopausia el Musical."
