Jason Somerville

Jason Somerville has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jason is currently a Founding Partner at GW Partners, a firm that specializes in operational consulting, financial management, strategic planning, and M&A advisory services for consumer brands. In this role, they help owners transform their companies, increase value, and maximize their exit opportunities.

Prior to their current role, Jason was a Founding Partner at South Col, an eCommerce accelerator that provides strategic resources and capital to enable founders to achieve high valuation sales. Jason worked closely with founders to design and execute an exit strategy within 18-24 months.

Before their time at South Col, Jason co-founded Global Wired Advisors, a market-leading provider of M&A, strategic advisory, and financial planning expertise to lower middle market companies in consumer products, eCommerce, and related services industries. Jason served as the Co-Founder and Managing Partner, leveraging their experience in investment banking, capital markets, operations, sales, and marketing to help clients optimize outcomes during the sale of their companies.

Jason also co-founded Providium Group LLC, a leading provider of investment banking services for lower middle market companies and small businesses. Jason served as the Co-Founder and Managing Partner, overseeing business sale, merger and acquisition, and financing services at Providium Advisors, as well as direct buying of small businesses at Providium Capital.

Before their venture into entrepreneurship, Jason operated a solo-preneur family office called Family Office Investments. As the Founder and Chief Investment Officer, they successfully started, purchased, and exited two companies: Amramp Carolinas, where they became the top franchisee within a year and significantly increased revenue and EBITDA before exiting the business, and another undisclosed company.

Earlier in their career, Jason held the role of Managing Director at Bayview Financial and worked as an Associate at Bank of America.

Jason Somerville obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance & International Business from Appalachian State University, where they studied from 1995 to 1999.
