Pamela Carriveau's work experience includes serving as the System Associate Vice President for Academic Programming at the South Dakota Board of Regents since 2022. Prior to that, they held positions at Black Hills State University, including Interim Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs from September 2021 to August 2022, and Assistant Provost from May 2018 to August 2022.

Pamela Carriveau's education history began in 1990 when they enrolled at the University of Wyoming. Pamela pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science, completing their studies in 1994. Following their undergraduate education, Pamela went on to further their academic achievements at Purdue University. From 1995 to 2003, they attended Purdue University and obtained a Ph.D. in Political Science.
